Do all people desire easier work, or do we not care and live day to day without the need of improvement?
It's very easy to become comfortable with what we have, and stay in that same lifestyle. After all why fix somethings that's not broken, right? There are some things people do, for it's part of their job description and other things out of interest.
Do you stop to think why you do the things you do everyday and why you do it?
Today I had a surplus inventory of glass vase from Target sent to my Allstate Office today. Oh n boy was the shipment bigger than i expected. I actually had to remodel my office, so the entire shipment would fit. It was a lot easier though, with the help of my Mexican connections.
Is right to resort to Mexican labor to get the job done?
I felt like to help, but had no interest in getting dirty, after all there were four of them, and i might be getting in the way. Right?
Well, I guess the fact of the matter is the 'Objective' and not the amount of energy or who does what. Maybe, i should even go as far as believing it's okay to not get my hands dirty, but instead blog about such an encounter as the hard working men grunts in the background.
Until Next time,
Cris

OMG Cris, That blog is so HILARIOUS!! no wonder mom sent it to everyone.
ReplyDeleteAt the beginning of the blog i thought you apposed the whole mexican labor thing, yet at the end, I realized you are more "oh well " type of attitude and "sit pretty" as usual. Which, i won't suggest for you to not do.
It just reminds me how I encouraged mom to accomplish a challenging task. *big smiles* by moving a two piece glass cabinet form one room to the corner of the other room.
love it
FUK dito... that comment took me freakin 5 tries to post, i hope you appreciate my efforts to show some love and attention to you. :P
