So I started the morning off with a Company Staff phone conference, which went on for a duration of 90 min. Oh Joy... We discussed Allstate's emerging lines such as motorcycles, motorboats, and motor homes. We traded marketing ideas, coverages info's, and job aid screenshots. How nice. *smiles*
But I have to admit, these conferences really speeds up the process of doing self study. Following the conference, i received a call from a lady who'd like to make a change to her policy. I personally don't mind performing this service for her, unless of course the endorsement was due to a change of mind.
I receive so many calls where ladies just can't make up their mind about what they'd like to do. I know bottom line is that they want to save money on their insurance policy, and never pay a penny more, but when these "i can't make up my mind" endorsements are recorded, it's a really irritating/ waist-of-a-time process.
None the less, I made another customer happy, and that is what really matter's most. These things happen frequently. Now i will make up a new policy to prevent these things from happening. Clearer communication with the client on whats stated in the endorsement contract, and no early effective dates on any endorsement, for people cannot tell the future, and from my experience, nothing ever go as planned, for something always comes up.
After my conversation with the lady, I followed up with a few other cases before to my surprise, A Guy walked into my office with a 20"W LCD Monitor and a GPS in hand! OMG! I got so excited, i don't even know how many times I thanked him. lol right away i started uncovering the treasure hidden within to give it a good look.
Oh boy, it was better than i have imagined. They were so beautiful. At this point i couldn't wait to get to my car then home to hook it all up. What a big upgrade for my car and gaming system. Bye Bye to the 19" CRT monitor i have at home, and hello big viewer!
What else could a girl dream for?

Progress Reports
Can Laziness show up on progress reports? Or Do you think naturally repeating daily activities promotes Zero change to progress reports?
I get so immune to working and driving that I'm literally surprised that i have arrived somewhere and feel so incredibly oblivious to everything around me. Realizing that I've lowered my alertness due to comfort, I recently decided to read every sign i see on the road. Yeah, meaning becoming somewhat of a dork, and give kudos to Names of businesses that took some creativity to come up with. Like for an example, i passed one that said "Xtreme Smiles!" know who can pass that sign w/o smiling? Hahha. Yes that was the name for a dental clinic.
Everyday, even w/o an actual grade sheet you need to give yourself a truthful critic. Yes, it's not really about weather or not you got things do or not, but whether or not you were living in the moment. Most people don't know what it means to live in the moment. More so people tend to live in the future or dwell on the past.
This is why mental progress reports are important. limit yourself with "i will......." n "I've already...." thoughts. These thoughts will keep you from moving forward. Instead, use "i am...." thoughts.
You can use my suggestion in any part of the day. I'll even give you a simple example you can try n relate to. Notice Saturday was my last blog. That night i was actually planning on writing another when i got home from work, no excuses. What happened instead? I stayed out late for Karaoke, and by the time i returned home, blogging was pretty much the last thing on my mind.
Monday morning, i woke up, all i could think was about blogging, by nightfall i came up with so many excuses i forgot who i was making the excuses for. I was saying things to myself like, "I will write it when i get home. I will write it tomorrow. I've already wrote 3. I've already got one comment. i... " And the excuses go on...
Tuesday morning, i repeated Monday with utter distress. Don't get me wrong, life flew by, i took care of business. I even upgraded Criscreams with some armor and a cpl Badges of Justice from running Karazhan, and some Spirit shards from running Slabs. I also did 10 games in my Arena 5v5 n 2v2 teams, and did my BG Daily along w/ a few battles in a pug premade.
If you couldn't understand my gaming jargon, it's okay, don't worry, all it meant was that i was spending every waking hour playing my favorite game, the World of Warcraft and not blogging like i wanted to.
Now it's Wednesday, i checked my blog, n told myself, "I am writing a blog right Now!"
*Smiles*
See how easy that was.
If i never gave myself a mental progress report, how long do u think my laziness would overcome me? Forever probably. *laughs*
So, yeah check yourself from time to time, it's helps.
Until Next Time,
Cris

Mexican Labor
Do all people desire easier work, or do we not care and live day to day without the need of improvement?
It's very easy to become comfortable with what we have, and stay in that same lifestyle. After all why fix somethings that's not broken, right? There are some things people do, for it's part of their job description and other things out of interest.
Do you stop to think why you do the things you do everyday and why you do it?
Today I had a surplus inventory of glass vase from Target sent to my Allstate Office today. Oh n boy was the shipment bigger than i expected. I actually had to remodel my office, so the entire shipment would fit. It was a lot easier though, with the help of my Mexican connections.
Is right to resort to Mexican labor to get the job done?
I felt like to help, but had no interest in getting dirty, after all there were four of them, and i might be getting in the way. Right?
Well, I guess the fact of the matter is the 'Objective' and not the amount of energy or who does what. Maybe, i should even go as far as believing it's okay to not get my hands dirty, but instead blog about such an encounter as the hard working men grunts in the background.

Just a few things about me.
Now i just wanted to talk about myself more today. I believe this is the best way to show a lil bit of my personality, rather than to pick an exclusive topic right away. You know like a lil warm up n getting my feet wet.
My name is Christel Huang, born and raised in the USA. I lived in San Jose, California for the majority, up until i decided to move out to Dallas, Texas. Mainly due to the cost of living is 50 % less of if still living in Cali.
You guys might be wondering Huang, that sounds Asian, well it is, but which faction? hm. hint my parents were born in Taiwan. ding ding, correct that makes me, Taiwanese/ Chinese.
So... Enough with the origin tale. let's skip my timeline for this blog n go right into me as of today! I spend a bulk of my time as a 21 yr old working n going to school. I'm working 46 hrs per week as an Allstate Insurance Agent, That's right you're in good hands, lol. Then I take night class in Accounting at Brook haven College in Farmers Branch, Texas. Good Stuff, I'm totally topping in that class, it's Amazing.
Then after my long day on work n school, to geek it up in my 500 sq ft studio. hahha, Geek it up? What does that mean you might ask? Well, i Play WOW, u know the World of Warcraft. It's addicting. I have a lvl 70 Holy Paladin, n she kicks Butt! lol well, Heals Butt?! Anyway.
i spend hours on that game from the moment i get home, sometimes staying up past 3am just spamming Flash of Light all night long. Here i'll even give you a link to see her on Armory.

Just Starting Out
After doing quite a bit of web surfing the other day, due to boredom, I realized that should start blogging. I was going back n forth thinking that i might not have anything witty to say, but I believe that I'm am the only one who can hear my own thoughts, and who knows maybe someone can benefit from it.
So even though I can become the queen of run-ons, or may need help on my grammer or puntuations... I'll try my best in getting the message across in my own inproper way.
*luaghs*
Maybe eventually i'll get podcast going, or youtube instead. Anyways, My goal for blogging is to creat value for others n myself. I am blogging to express myself after years of being trapped in the world of Simon says.
Until Next Time,
Cris
